In August 2005, the Ecological Forecasting group at NASA Ames Research Center completed the Intelligent Ecosystem Prediction research task. This task was conducted in collaboration with the Institute of Human and Machine Cognition at the University of West Florida, Carnegie Mellon University, CSU Monterey Bay, and Fetch Technologies. NASA Ames, CMU, UWF IHMC, CSUMB, and Fetch Technologies recently completed a project which involved the development of a distributed architecture and new techniques for autonomous exploration and discovery using heterogeneous remote sensing data. This research was supported by the NASA CICT Intelligent Systems / Intelligent Data Understanding sub-Project.
